Steam now accepts Bitcoins

In a somewhat surprise move as Valve once said it would be unlikely Steam would support Bitcoin, Valve have added Bitcoin support for Steam payments.

Steam adds Bitcoin support

This is an interesting and quite bold move for Valve given Steam’s tremendous size. Larger companies tend to avoid early adoption of new stuff (unless it’s in scope of their business). For Bitcoin, this is a huge step forward into wider adoption.
